I bought this speaker at the beginning of the summer because I wanted a portable outdoor speaker to bring on some trips. I can say that it didn't disappoint! I've used it outside while grilling, brought it on boat rides and beaches in Toledo Bend, and recently used during our trip to Gulf Shores at the beach and our campsite. It sounds great both at loud and low volumes. It's rugged to take on the clay dirt of the lake shore and the sandy beaches along the Gulf coast. I even dropped it in the water from our boat in Toledo Bend and was impressed by its ability to float and not get damaged by the water. I have a larger Defender that I was able to connect my Scout to, and have music in multiple places. Battery life is pretty good too. All in all, I'm very happy with my Scout, and I would recommend it to my friends and family if they are looking for an affordable, rugged, high quality portable speaker.
I was looking for an economically friendly alternate to the Turtle Box and I found it. I am very impressed by the sound of the speaker, the app functions and all the speaker has to offer. I love how you can connect all of the bluetooth devices together as well. I look forward to purchasing another one and utilizing that feature. So very happy with my purchase!
Just received so limited use at this point. So far I am impressed. Very good volume out of a small portable unit. Lots of options and features. Multiple EQ settings and a host of lights if that's your thing. Also has a pretty solid flashlight. Bought it for the boat so as not to drain the batteries. I recommend.
Sounds really good and was so easy to install really excited to pair this with the tower speakers in the future
I used this bracket to to mount my SE18E Elite SoundExtreme 18" soundbar on my Polaris, and so far I'm very please with it. Easy installation... simple instructions... well made product!!! It comes with 2 tube designed mounting brackets (1.5" and 2"), 8 screws and washers to mount to speaker.
