I really like this product. It has served me well for several years. I need to purchase a new one. However, I am unsure of another product that is as light as this one. It appears all of the others are too heavy for my liking.
Exactly what I was expecting! Almost bought the Turtlebox until I watched videos on the defender, I read some reviews and that was all it took to change my mind! Love it!
The EcoTrek is rugged and durable. The build of the EcoTrek takes me back to simpler times when I would work outside with my old man. I can leave the radio on for hours at a time, excellent battery life. I purchased the EcoTrek thinking that the Ecoconnect could connect to Ecocast. Sadly, the two systems are not compatible. That being said, the speaker is still a very well put together sound system for the price. Only downside is the limited speaker connection.
