This speaker is great. It was ordered as a gift and we have enjoyed it. It is super loud, easy to carry, and has amazing features. Will definitely be ordering another one!

So I bought my son a Turtle Box gen 3 a few months ago, I was impressed with it. I have the Ecoxgear SoundExtreme SEB26 on my Can Am Outlander and love it so I bought the Defender because I wanted to pair it with the SEB26 also.
I downloaded a decibel meter on my phone and tried them both. The Turtle Box about 10" away from my phone was reading 102.7 db and the Ecoxgear defender was reading 102.6 db. So they are both just about the same.
I like the extra features you get with the Defender. The lights options, three different eq settings and bottle opener.
For the price and performance, I am very happy with the Defender.
Great sound, great bass, especially for a speaker this compact and portable. Very well made.
