Disappointed I paid $115 for this mount and it didnt come with the proper hardware. The ones it came with are carriage bolts not T rail bolts snd they do not fit my rail. Not only can I not use it yet but I have to order the proper hardware.
Had this speaker out on the boat using it the first time, a part broke on the boat causing it to sink and this speaker stayed 10ft under water with the boat for 5 hours until it floated up and worked perfectly fine
Overall great speaker. We also own the defender and while I think the boulder is better overall the defender has louder speakers.
I bought this speaker at the beginning of the summer because I wanted a portable outdoor speaker to bring on some trips. I can say that it didn't disappoint! I've used it outside while grilling, brought it on boat rides and beaches in Toledo Bend, and recently used during our trip to Gulf Shores at the beach and our campsite. It sounds great both at loud and low volumes. It's rugged to take on the clay dirt of the lake shore and the sandy beaches along the Gulf coast. I even dropped it in the water from our boat in Toledo Bend and was impressed by its ability to float and not get damaged by the water. I have a larger Defender that I was able to connect my Scout to, and have music in multiple places. Battery life is pretty good too. All in all, I'm very happy with my Scout, and I would recommend it to my friends and family if they are looking for an affordable, rugged, high quality portable speaker.
I was looking for an economically friendly alternate to the Turtle Box and I found it. I am very impressed by the sound of the speaker, the app functions and all the speaker has to offer. I love how you can connect all of the bluetooth devices together as well. I look forward to purchasing another one and utilizing that feature. So very happy with my purchase!
