speaker skipping

speaker worked fine for about a year no problem but has now started skipping at the beginning songs bad and still off and on throughout the rest of song. did what ecoxgear recommended and reset bluetooth connection on phone and speaker and it worked great for about 10 minutes. I know it's the speaker because my other ecoxgear speakers as in multiple older models still work fine minus battery but that's to be expected at their age but this thing can't play a single song without skipping constantly whatever changes this company has made to save money has resulted in a speaker that is unusable at best and a complete waste of money so very disappointed in quality of this speaker and the engineer who put the bluetooth components in this thing should be fired!!!

Awesome at the lake till it got wet

Was great ordered this April 20th took it to the lake in May was amazing 0 base from the beginning but could live with it. Went on two camping trips was good play music for 12+ hours a day for two days. We had a monsoon blow up and it got soaked and water inside the speaker compartment. Pulled grill off to find the sub or low speaker had a crack in it and water got inside the electrical side of box. Hoping they will warranty it as i love it other than that.

Keeps skipping

Won't hold a song without skipping so annoying! Moved Eco boulder everywhere in house, outside by pool, different spots and still skips with different devices hooked up to it not just my phone. 1st yr was fine now not so good

Battery won't hold

We got one right out of the box and it wouldnt turn on unless plugged in. That should've been our sign but no we took it back and exchanged it out for a new one which worked great but just a little over a year now and the battery only last a few hours. I would love to be reached out to about this issue and have it fixed thanks.

Doesn’t last

We’ve had ours about a year and the battery dies fast and it does not play as loud as it did in the beginning

I now own 3 of the top sound boxes on the market right now. The defender is one of my favorites for taken on road trips because of its portability and weight. You can also tweak the sound of the music Highs & lows in my music app. I would like for your company to send me another defender as one of the other companies has to do a real review on the true sound that you get when pairing two or more together. The only weak spot for me on the defender is range. You cannot walk away too far from it before it starts to lose connection. Hopefully they can get a fix for that. The only way to really invest in any of the music boxes on the market now is to be able to expand them and get true sound. So is the beginning for me with Ecoxgear or the end
